Port of Callao, Peru

Project Description

Cullen Grummitt & Roe was commissioned to undertake a feasibility study for the redevelopment of an existing terminal at the port of Callao, the main port for Lima, capital of Peru.  The study involved the relocation of a copper concentrate exporting operation (located in the middle of the port) to a new facility, thereby providing sufficient area to develope a new, efficient container and general cargo operation.

Cullen Grummitt & Roe visited the site and obtained all data necessary to prepare layout plans and cost estimates for the proposed redevelopment.  The feasibility of the relocation of the copper concentrate operation was a crucial factor for the development.
