Shell Pinkenba Product Wharf Mooring Dolphins Repair

Project Description

CGR has been involved with Shell Australia since 1993 when a maintenance program was developed for their product wharf in Pinkenba, Brisbane. As part of the maintenance works repairs to the mooring dolphins became necessary.

Existing berthing dolphins were in state of decay. Some needed replacing while others could be repaired.

CGR designed a schedule of repairs and new replacement dolphins. As part of the site supervision service CGR was responsible for all applications and permits from local authorities, as well as for calling and assessing tenders for the works to be carried out.

Repair works and installation of new dolphins have been successfully completed.
