Project Description
As part of a continuing environmental impact study the client required an annual hydrographic survey of its sand dredging lease area in Moreton Bay, Queensland. The lease area covers 1.1km2 and was required to be surveyed at 20m intervals to satisfy Queensland Government requirements.
Our service was to plan and preform the required hydrographic survey using Differential GPS and digital echo sounders. Position and depth fixes were recorded automatically using software developed in-house. Our service included contour plotting of the area which was also performed automatically using the CGR hydrographic survey software.
