Project Description

This project involved the development of a ferry terminal and an overwater riverside lookout as part of the redevelopment of the Expo 88 site on the banks of the Brisbane River.

Initially, Cullen Grummitt & Roe was commissioned to provide advice on the type, size, style and number of structures required by the industry.  Preliminary costings were completed and a report prepared after an industry study was conducted.

Subsequently, Cullen Grummitt & Roe was commissioned to design and document the resulting River Lookout and Ferry Terminal structures up to deck level and to provide on-site supervision during their construction.
