Project Description
German Creek Coal Mine in Central Queensland was expanding its coal stockpile area and required preliminary planning, design and cost estimates for the associated works.
CGR was engaged to provide preliminary civil and structural designs for a variety of new structures including road works, reclaimer and reclaim tunnel, conveyor trestles and footings, transfer towers, surge bins and storm water drainage. Cost estimates were then prepared for a number of possible layout alternatives.
