Project Description
A large pontoon was required to carry a mineral sand separation plant and a large steel industrial building required for separation of the mineral concentrate.
Cullen Grummitt & Roe was responsible for planning, design and supervision of the civil work and of the structure with detailed analyses of stability of the pontoon under various loads. The initial work was done in Australia. The major portion was done in Johannesburg, using our own key personnel plus locally recruited assistants.
