Cullen Grummitt & Roe (CGR) is an engineering consultancy providing services world wide. The company specializes in port and harbour engineering, cold storage and mining infrastructure projects.
The company has been in continuous operation since 1924 when Mr. E.B. Cullen commenced practice in Brisbane, Australia to service the expanded shipping and stevedoring companies which owned their own wharves.
Since that time, CGR has expanded and now operates an international practice from their key global strategic office locations in the UK, Australia, India and Argentina.
CGR has over 85 years experience in successfully designing and managing projects for its clients. This experience, together with state-of-the-art technological resources and a committed staff of engineering professionals, enables the company to provide a full range of consulting engineering services.

CGR has completed many privatisation studies, feasibility studies, terminal master plans and detailed engineering designs for developments around the world. On many of these projects CGR has also undertaken project management, contract administration and site supervision for many major infrastructure developments. CGR has worked on every continent (excluding Antarctica) and with project values of up to £1billion.
The company recognises the importance of providing a personal service to each of its clients, and is structured to ensure a confidential client-orientated approach. This ensure that the services provided for each commission are specifically tailored to best satisfy the requirements of the client. A Director of the firm, working closely with the engineering team, handles each project. In this way each client and every project gains the benefit of the vast collective experience resident within the company.
