Changes in the operation of a group of chillers and freezers within a multi level building caused condensation on wall and floor surfaces in surrounding work spaces.
Cullen Grummitt & Roe carried out an inspection and prepared a report on the causes and the range of solutions to resolve the problems.

Stage 1 of the Food City Cold Store included a high-rise cold room, low-rise cold room (re-erected), refrigerated handling area and annex with palletising and blast freezing rooms. Also associated with the works was an amenities block, engine room and control room.

Stage 4 involved a new chiller extension and refurbishment of existing cold rooms at the Cold Storage complex at Murarrie was designed and documented.
Stage 5 involved the construction of a freezer room with an internal volume of 17,200m3, extensions to the battery charging area, a small maintenance workshop and external pavements.

There was a failure of a section of sheet pile wall which was installed at 40 Riverview Parade, Budd’s Beach on the Gold Coast. The sheet pile wall served as a cofferdam to allow the excavation and construction of the substructure of a proposed high rise residential apartment block.

A berthing dolphin at a bulk silica sand loading facility was damaged by ship impact. CGR was commissioned to undertake an engineering investigation of the magnitude of the impact and implications of the damage.
