The Egyptian Agrium Nitrogen Products Company, trading as EAgrium, is constructing a production plant in Damietta, Egypt for urea and ammonia. The plant is being built in close proximity to the Port of Damietta to allow the export of the products through the new EAgrium Marine Terminal. The terminal is designed to accommodate both urea and ammonia ships.

Sokhna Port Development Company (SPDC) is the Build Own Operate and Transfer (BOOT)concession holder for the Phase 1 development at the Port of Sokhna. The port is a deep water facility, located on the Red Sea approximately 40km south of Suez. The Phase 1 development includes 1500m of quay and associated back up yards for the handling of containers, dry bulk products, fertilisers and general cargo.
